Seobility Review

Seobility Review

Rating: 2 out of 5

Seobility is an all in one SEO tool which can be great to provide some quick insights. To be transparent, I had never heard about this tool before writing this review so I was very interested in finding out if I had found a little gem.

On the first inspection, this tool falls into the category of all in one SEO tool, the other tools on the market that may be similar are SEMRush, Sistrix and Moz.

Normally these tools very useful, but I find they are normally lacking in some functionality in that they are either good at market insights or they are good at auditing. SEMRush and Moz are the tools that I have found that get the closest to full-service functionality which some tools, like Seoability, have tried to replicate.

Seoability have 3 different packages with some key highlights:

  • Basic = Free
    • 1 tracked domain / project
    • 1,000 crawled pages / URLs
    • 200 checked external links
    • 10 tracked keyword across 3 competitors
  • Premium = £39.00 month with a 30 day free trial
    • 3 tracked domains / projects
    • 25,000 crawled pages URLs
    • 5,000 checked external backlinks
    • 300 tracked keywords across 20 competitors
  • Agency = £149 month
    • 15 tracked domains / projects
    • 100,000 crawled pages
    • 20,000 checked external links
    • 1,500 tracked keywords across 30 competitors

The User Interface is minimalistic

On the first impression, the tool is quite easy to set up but a lot of the insights look very topline and I wouldn’t say that any of the insights will really drive your business forward. This is present through the UI which is very basic. Having a basic UI is not a problem as SEO tools do sometimes over complicate things so if you’re new to SEO and have a small site, then this tool could be something for you.

Is Seoability for you?

If you need Google Search Console and Google Analytics API’s integrations then you’re out of luck, Seoability doesn’t support this which would probably rule this tool out for the majority of medium to large organisations.

I do find that the tools are basic but sometimes basic functionality is all you need. If you’re a small scale blogger or small business then I think the premium £39.00/mo package could be for you, but it may be worthwhile exploring other tools. As there is no API functionality the data will be tied up into this tool which would make it very hard to move to another tool if you outgrow the user limits, it may be worthwhile paying up for a more feature-filled SEO tool.
